1. About these terms
These terms apply when you access or play Lex Blast on the web or through an Android or iOS application. Lex Blast is published by Silarus SASU. By using the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Lex Blast.
2. The game
Lex Blast is a general-audience word puzzle primarily intended for adults. The game is free and has no in-app purchases, paid subscription, player account, social feature or chat. Ad-enabled Android versions display banner ads and may offer optional rewarded ads. The web game and initial public iOS release do not serve AdMob ads.
When available, a rewarded ad offers a rack redraw after your normal Passes run out. Watching is optional and subject to the game's reward limits. Completing an ad and receiving its reward confirmation triggers the redraw; an unavailable, failed or unfinished ad does not grant a reward. You can choose to keep playing or quit without watching an ad. Advertising privacy choices and data processing are described in our Privacy policy.
Progress, preferences and high scores are principally stored on your device. They are not cloud saves and may be lost if storage is cleared, the game is removed, a device fails or platform behaviour changes. Scores have no cash value and Lex Blast does not award prizes.
3. Permission to use Lex Blast
Silarus grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use Lex Blast for lawful, non-commercial play, subject to these terms and any applicable store terms. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Lex Blast or help anyone else do so. In particular, do not interfere with the game or its services, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, use automated means that burden the service, infringe another person's rights, or copy, modify, sell, sublicense or redistribute Lex Blast except where applicable law or an identified third-party licence permits it.
5. Ownership and third-party material
Silarus owns or licenses the Lex Blast software, name, designs, original artwork and original content. Third-party dictionaries, artwork, fonts and other material remain subject to their owners' rights and their own terms. See the dictionary notices and licences and image credits and licence details.
6. Changes, availability and ending access
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue some or all of Lex Blast, and may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the game, users or our rights. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of local saves, compatibility with every device, or that dictionaries and word decisions are complete or error-free. You may stop using Lex Blast at any time.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how Silarus handles information, including narrow first-party gameplay measurement. It is separate from these terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Lex Blast is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Silarus does not promise that it will always be available, free from defects or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, Silarus is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of, or inability to use, Lex Blast. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
9. App stores
If you obtain Lex Blast through an app store, that store's terms also apply. These are general Lex Blast terms, not an Apple custom end-user licence. For an iOS app obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard EULA applies to the app licence unless Silarus expressly provides a custom EULA.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections under the law of your usual country of residence or of the right to bring a dispute before any court that is competent under applicable law.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when Lex Blast or applicable requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain on this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide any notice required by law.
