How to play Lex Blast

Drag tiles from your rack onto the board to build words horizontally or vertically. Each word must include at least one anchor letter already on the board. Press Play to submit it. Longer words earn more points.

After you play a word, its first and last letters become anchors and stay on the board; the rest disappear. Use all your rack tiles to earn a bonus and start the next round. Every fifth round is a Challenge Round, normally starting with two randomly placed pink anchors.

Stuck? You start with two Pass uses to exchange your remaining tiles for a fresh rack. You earn one pass after every ten completed rounds, up to two.

Play in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese or Italian. Click or tap the flag icons to switch languages and start a new game.

Scoring

Each accepted word scores by length, including anchor letters:

2 letters: 25 points
3 letters: 50 points
4 letters: 100 points
5 letters: 200 points
6 letters: 500 points
7 letters: 1000 points
8 letters: 2000 points

If one placed tile completes two words, both words score. Clearing the rack earns a 200-point bonus if at least one pass remains, or 100 points when none remain.
